There’s a new “world’s fastest car…”
It’s called the Jesko and it’s the latest car from Koenigsegg. It can theoretically go 300mph and it will set you back £3.5 million.
Its fuel-guzzling twin-turbo, 5.0 litre V8 has 1600bhp when you run this mad, hyper-car on racing petrol. (Sorry, if you use normal fuel it only has 1280bhp.) It can sprint you from 0-62mph in 2.7secs, so you’ll never be late to work or school again (although you may have some speeding tickets)!
Downforce. There’s lots of it.
It features much more aggressive aerodynamics that provide 800kg of downforce at 250 km/h. A maximum of 1400kg of downforce is available.
This spoiler is huge and produces most of the car’s downforce. Downforce keeps this car on the road when travelling at extremely high speeds.
Koenigsegg claim this beast of a car can scientifically go 300mph. This hasn’t been proven but will be in 2020.
It has only been seen at the recent Geneva Motor Show, but everyone has high expectations for this car.
